4 reasons to love burpees

I love burpees – said nobody ever! But maybe we should. It’s about time we stopped giving this power exercise such a hard time, here are 4 simple reasons as to why;

  1. Burpees are an intense full body exercise meaning you burn lots of calories, so if you have a weight loss goal these are your best friend.
  2. They will make you stronger – grrrr! You’ll work your arms, chest, quads, glutes, hamstrings and abs with every burpee, so what are you waiting for?
  3. You don’t need any equipment, so you can do them pretty much anywhere – no excuses.
  4. You can get a bit creative with them – add that press up, add a tuck jump, use a box. Challenge your body with burpee variations – and your body will thank you (eventually)!
